Details
What's wrong: The speedometer cable was incorrectly routed and may break or detach.
Why it matters: A speedometer with a broken or detached speedometer cable will fail to show the motorcycle speed, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace and reroute the speedometer cable, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 1, 2023.
