Details
What's wrong: The right engine crank house cover was incorrectly painted, allowing the press-fit plug to fall out.
Why it matters: Oil can leak onto the exhaust pipe or rear tire without the plug, increasing the risk of a fire, crash, or injury.
The fix: Dealers will replace the right crank case cover, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 25, 2023.
