What's wrong: Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Interstate 24 and Interstate 19 motorhomes. The main cable from the battery to the fuse panel may be under-protected by a 200-amp fuse, which could allow the wiring to overheat in the event of a short circuit.
Why it matters: Wiring that overheats can increase the risk of a fire.
The fix: Dealers will replace the 200-amp fuse with a 50-amp fuse, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 14, 2023.
