What's wrong: The front brake calipers may have been assembled with bolts that have an incorrect thread length, which can damage the mounting hole threads in the brake caliper.
Why it matters: Damaged brake calipers can detach and cause a loss of braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Owners should not operate their motorcycle, other than take it to a dealer, until the remedy is performed.
