NHTSA recall 24V076000
Forward Collision Avoidance · Lucid USA, Inc.
Details
What's wrong: Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Air vehicles running software release versions 2.1.2 through 2.1.26. The software may cause a fault while the adaptive cruise control is on, resulting in a loss of drive power.
Why it matters: A sudden loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
The fix: Lucid released an over-the-air (ota) software update in October 2023, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 8, 2024.
