What's wrong: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2011, 2016-2019, 2021-2024 Rockport work trucks. The rear liftgate may have been installed without a u-bolt on the driver and passenger side, which can allow the liftgate to fall to the ground when loaded.
Why it matters: A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the u-bolts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2024.
