What's wrong: The tire placards indicate an incorrect tire size. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, "wheels and rims - other than passenger cars."
Why it matters: Incorrect tire size information can allow the incorrect tires to be installed on the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Heartland will mail out replacement certification labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 14, 2024.
