Details
What's wrong: The rear tire may crack or deform, resulting in tire tread separation.
Why it matters: Tread separation may cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Owners are advised not to ride their motorcycles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will replace the rear tire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 20, 2024.
