Details
What's wrong: Affects vehicles equipped with a Transit trail package. The electronic power assist steering (epas) ground eyelet joint may experience corrosion, which can result in a loss of power steering assist.
Why it matters: A loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will install a new epas ground pigtail kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on January 10, 2025.
