Details

What's wrong: Affects vehicles equipped with the happijac drop down bed option. The front overhead cabinet fasteners can break, allowing the overhead cabinet to detach.

Why it matters: A cabinet that detaches while the vehicle is in motion can distract the driver, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix: Dealers will inspect and install new hardware and fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 7, 2024.
