Details
What's wrong: The 7-way electrical connection to the brake actuator may have been mis-wired, which can prevent the brakes from engaging if the tow vehicle detaches.
Why it matters: Brakes that fail to engage when a tow vehicle detaches increases the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and correct the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2024.
