NHTSA recall 24V701000
Structure · Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini)
Details
What's wrong: The right front frame bracket may have been installed on the wrong side of the vehicle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 208, "occupant crash protection."
Why it matters: In the event of a crash, an incorrectly installed frame bracket may not provide adequate protection to an unbelted passenger, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and reassemble the bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 15, 2024.
