NHTSA recall 24V824000
Structure · Winnebago Industries, Inc.
Details
What's wrong: Winnebago industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Winnebago View and Navion recreational vehicles equipped with certain lippert metallarte door assemblies. The door assembly may have been manufactured with incorrect window adhesion, causing the window to loosen or detached.
Why it matters: A window that detaches during transit can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will install clips to secure the window to the door as necessary, free of charge. An interim owner letter was mailed December 20, 2024. A second notice will be mailed once the final remedy is available.
