Details
What's wrong: Excessive heat may damage the rear brake hose between the ABS control unit and brake caliper, resulting in a sudden loss of the rear brakes.
Why it matters: A sudden loss of the rear brakes increases the risk of a crash or injury.
The fix: Dealers will reinstall the thermal shield, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 17, 2025.
