NHTSA recall 25V193000
Equipment, Seats · General Motors, LLC
Details
What's wrong: The owner's manual inaccurately describes the rear outboard head restraints. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 202, "head restraints."
Why it matters: Incorrect head restraint information may lead to improperly adjusted head restraints, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
The fix: Gm will mail owner's manual inserts with the correct illustrations and descriptions for rear outboard head restraints, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 30, 2025.
