Details
What's wrong: Affects vehicles equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.
Why it matters: Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will inspect the clip-on bracket and make repairs as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2025.
