NHTSA recall 25V388000
Back Over Prevention, Equipment · Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
Details
What's wrong: Due to a manufacturing error, the rearview camera image may not display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 111, "rear visibility."
Why it matters: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 3, 2025.
