NHTSA recall 25V398000
Electrical System, Engine And Engine Cooling · Ford Motor Company
Details
What's wrong: Contact with the engine coolant hose may chafe the engine wire harness or cause a pull out of the powertrain control module (PCM) connector pins, causing the engine to stall.
Why it matters: An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect, replace the engine wire harness as necessary, and relocate the engine coolant hose, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 12, 2025. The parts are anticipated to be available the third quarter of 2025.
