Details

What's wrong: The electrical components under the house entry steps may fail due to water intrusion, including the carbon monoxide (Co) or liquid propane (lp) detector.

Why it matters: A faulty Co or lp detector may not notify occupants of carbon monoxide or propane exposure, increasing the risk of injury or death.

The fix: Dealers will install latch covers on the entry steps, mudflaps, and seal the compartment seams, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025.
