Details

What's wrong: The second-row seat head restraints may not lock in the upright position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 202, "head restraints."

Why it matters: Head restraints that do not lock can result in an increased risk of injury to seat occupants during a crash.

The fix: Dealers will inspect and replace both second-row seat head restraints, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 5, 2025.
