What's wrong: Porsche cars north america, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Macan 4 Electric vehicles. The front seat air bags may be improperly secured to the backrest frame, which can prevent the air bags from deploying properly.
Why it matters: An improper air bag deployment can increase the risk of injury during a crash. In addition, an improperly secured air bag may project loose components into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and repair the backrest frame screws as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on September 26, 2025.
