Details
What's wrong: Water may enter into the rearview camera connectors, which can cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display or display a distorted image.
Why it matters: A rearview camera that displays a blank or distorted image can reduce the drivers view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the rearview camera harness and rearview camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 1, 2026.
