Details

What's wrong: The remote start antenna cable may be pinched, which can cause the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light not to illuminate as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 138, "tire pressure monitoring systems."

Why it matters: A TPMS warning light that fails to notify the driver of a problem increases the risk of a crash.

The fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the remote start antenna cable as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 2, 2025.
