Details
What's wrong: The vehicles are equipped with an incorrect cross car beam in the instrument panel. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "occupant crash protection."
Why it matters: An incorrect cross beam may not adequately protect occupants in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will replace the cross beam, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 16, 2025.
