Details
What's wrong: A software error in an over-the-air (ota) update may result in a loss of drive power.
Why it matters: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will update the telematics box module software, free or charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed November 20, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available.
