Details

What's wrong: The solar panel mounting brackets may become loose or break allowing the solar panel to detach.

Why it matters: A detached solar can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix: Dealers will inspect and install missing washers, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 12, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy becomes available.
