NHTSA recall 25V825000

What's wrong: Ktm north america, Inc. (ktm) is recalling certain 2024 husqvarna vitpilen 401, husqvarna svartpilen 401, 2024-2025 390 duke, 2025 390 smc r, 390 enduro r, 390 adventure x, and 390 adventure r motorcycles. The engine control software may cause the engine to stall at low rpms, resulting in a loss of power.

Why it matters: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash or injury.

The fix: Ktm and husqvarna dealers will inspect the motorcycles and update the electronic control unit engine management system (ECU ems) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2026.
