NHTSA recall 25V907000
Structure · KTM North America, Inc.
Details
What's wrong: Ktm north america, Inc. (ktm) is recalling certain 2025 390 adventure r, 390 smc r, 390 adventure x, and 390 enduro r motorcycles. Engine vibrations may cause the side stand spring to break and the side stand to fall to the ground.
Why it matters: A motorcycle side stand that falls to the ground while riding can shut off the ignition, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
The fix: Owners are advised to secure the side stand before riding the motorcycle until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will replace the side stand spring and install a new side stand sensor retaining plate, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on February 17, 2026.
