Details
What's wrong: The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach.
Why it matters: A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will properly secure the solar panels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2026.
