Details
What's wrong: The gross axle weight rating (gawr) may not be listed on the certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 cfr part 567, "certification."
Why it matters: Missing weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers or owners will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2026.
