What's wrong: These vehicles are equipped with rear lights that may not function properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 108, lamps, reflective devices, and assoc. Equipment."
Why it matters: A rear taillight, brake light, or rear turn signal light that functions improperly, increases the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the rear lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 2, 2026.
