Details
What's wrong: Water may accumulate on the air bag control unit, which can cause the air bags not to deploy as intended.
Why it matters: An air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.
The fix: Dealers will install a cover on the air bag control unit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning April 10, 2026.
