Details
What's wrong: The bowden cable may have been incorrectly installed, which can prevent the door from opening from inside the vehicle.
Why it matters: A door that cannot be opened may trap occupants inside the vehicle, which can increase the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and repair the bowden cable assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 1, 2026.
