Details
What's wrong: The entry door position switch may not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which allows the steps to deploy unexpectedly.
Why it matters: Steps extending while in transit increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will reposition the switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 4, 2026.
