Details
What's wrong: The furnace may create electrical signal that turns the generator on unexpectedly.
Why it matters: A generator that operates in an enclosed space, such as a garage, increases the risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning.
The fix: Owners are advised to park outside until the repair has been performed. Dealers will install a relay harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026.
