NHTSA recall 26V326000
Back Over Prevention · Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
Details
What's wrong: The front camera wiring harness may not be connected properly, which can cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 111, "rear visibility."
Why it matters: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and reconnect the wiring harness, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 9, 2026.
