NHTSA recall 26V360000
Electrical System · Jayco, Inc.
Details
What's wrong: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2026 Entegra Qwest and Jayco Melbourne Prestige recreational vehicles. The taillight warning light may incorrectly illuminate on the instrument panel display when the taillights are functioning correctly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 101, "controls and displays."
Why it matters: The incorrect warning light may fail to alert the driver to critical safety information or cause confusion, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the taillight harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 18, 2026.
