NHTSA recall 26V367000
Exterior Lighting · Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA
Details
What's wrong: The turn signal lights may fail to operate when activated. As such, these motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Why it matters: Turn signals that do not function properly may fail to indicate the rider's intention to change direction, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Owners are advised not to ride their motorycle until the remedy is complete. Yamaha will replace the meter assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 26, 2026.
