Details
What's wrong: The walls for the steel wheels may be too thin, allowing them to crack or detach, which can result in a loss of vehicle control.
Why it matters: Loss of vehicle control increases the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the steel wheels and valve stems, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 4, 2026.
