What's wrong: Tiffin motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Wayfarer recreational vehicles. The liquid propane (lp) tank may have been manufactured without the remote shut off and may be loose in the mounting bracket.
Why it matters: Lp tanks that cannot be shut off increase the risk of a fire. Additionally a loose lp tank may detach and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will install a remote shut off and replace the bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by October 30, 2026.
