What's wrong: Safety belts may be incorrectly routed because a passage hole through the seat was not provided, and there may be excessive slack in the safety belt, which does not comply with fmvss 209, "safety belt assemblies."

Why it matters: Excessive slack in the safety belt increases the risk ofinjury to seat occupant in the event of a sudden stop or accident.

The fix: Reroute the safety belt to reduce the amount of slack.
