Details

What's wrong: The fuel supply and return lines can leak if the aluminum barrel nut attaching the lines is tightened in excess of the required torque.

Why it matters: This condition could result in fuel leakage. Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire.

The fix: Dealers will replace the fuel supply and return lines with new updated lines, which have the barrel nut made of steel.
