Tiffin Convoy problems & recalls

Problem: Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain 2024 convoy, 2023-2026 gh1, 2025 gt1, and 2026 gh2 motorhomes equipped with 2.0 liter engine. the secondary alternator controller programming was not properly updated.

Risk: Improper programming can cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: Dealers will install a wire harness and update the alternator programming, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed september 19, 2025. owners may contact tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. tiffin's number for this recall is tif-145.

Problem: Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain 2024 tiffin convoy, 2022 cahaba, and 2023, 2025 tiffin gh1 motorhomes. the wheel bolts for the spare tire may be missing.

Risk: A spare tire that is installed without the correct bolts can detach, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: Tiffin will mail the wheel bolts for the spare tire, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed august 27, 2024. owners may contact tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. tiffin's number for this recall is tif-140.

Problem: Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain 2023-2024 convoy and gh-1 motorhomes. the bracket that secures the solar panel to the roof may crack and break, which can cause the solar panel to detach.

Risk: A detached solar panel can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

Fix: Dealers will replace the brackets, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed february 21, 2024. owners may contact tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. tiffin's number for this recall is tif-136.
