What's wrong: On certain ambulances originally sold in or currently registered in the states of connecticut, delaware, illinois, indiana, iowa, maine, maryland, massachusetts, michigan, minnesota, missouri, new hampshire, new jersey, new york, ohio, pennsylvania, rhode island, vermont, west virginia, wisconsin, and the district of columbia. Corrosion May occur on the anl 400 amp fuse due to exposure to calcium chloride elements…
Why it matters: The deterioration of the fuse can cause a disruption of power resulting in loss of service in the patient compartment.
The fix: Retrofit kits and installation instructions will be mailed to customers free of charge. The recall began on January 8, 2008.
