Backup camera Vehicle recall #26V018000 · 2026 · 3,900 vehicles
What's wrong: Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2025-2026 gravity vehicles operating a software version prior to 3.3.20. The rearview camera image May not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "rear visibility."
Why it matters: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Lucid has released an over-the-air (ota) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2026.
Seats Vehicle recall #26V192000 · 2026 · 4,476 vehicles
What's wrong: Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2025-2026 gravity vehicles. The lap belt anchor brackets on the second row seats May have insufficient welds, which can cause bracket failure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, âseating systemsâ and 210, âseat belt assembly anchorages.â
Why it matters: Seat bracket failure can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
The fix: Lucid will inspect and repair the seats or replace the seats as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 18, 2026.
