Risk: Should the signaling device fall from the motorcycle while being driven on the roadways, it could become an obstacle for other drivers which may result in a crash.
Fix: Dealers will attach two tether cables to the device in order to secure it to the motorcycle in the event the mounting bracket becomes loose. this service will be performed free of charge. the safety recall began on november 2, 2010. owners may contact bmw at 1-800-525-7417.
