Transmission & drivetrain Vehicle recall #13V094000 · 2013 · 2,180 vehicles
What's wrong: Chemicals used in the manufacturing of the shift lever assembly May result in the malfunction of the brake shift interlock allowing the transmission shift lever to be shifted out of park without depressing the brake pedal.
Why it matters: If the vehicle is unintentionally shifted out of park, it could roll away and lead to personal injury or a vehicle crash.
The fix: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will remedy the vehicles, free of charge. The recall began on April 15, 2013.
Brakes (hydraulic) Vehicle recall #13V451000 · 2013 · 3,247 vehicles
What's wrong: Nissan north america, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2013 titan and armada vehicles manufactured February 22, 2013, through May 3, 2013. The affected vehicles have a brake master cylinder which May intermittently reduce the pressure supplied to the front brakes.
Why it matters: If the front brake pressure is reduced there would be less braking power, requiring a longer distance to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Nissan has notified owners, and dealers will replace the master cylinder, free of charge. The recall began on October 21, 2013.
Airbags Vehicle recall #20V188000 · 2020 · 216,678 vehicles

Why it matters: An inflator rupture May result in metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
