Details
What's wrong: The electrical transfer switch wire was installed incorrectly and the transfer switch could send 220 volt current instead of 110 volt current through the trailer's electrical system.
Why it matters: This voltage increase could lead to overheating of the electrical system resulting in a fire or property damage.
The fix: Crossroads will inspect and if necessary rewire the transfer switch to the correct specification, free of charge. The safety recall began on May 20, 2011.
