Details
What's wrong: Affects vehicles equipped with disc brakes. The spare steel wheel on the affected vehicles may not properly fit on the axle hub, resulting in the wheel rubbing on the brake line, causing it to wear.
Why it matters: The brake line may be worn through causing a loss of braking or vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Heartland will notify owners, and dealers will replace the steel spare wheel with an aluminum wheel, free of charge. The recall began on January 11, 2017.
