Details
What's wrong: The fuel tank may be missing welds around the mounting bracket.
Why it matters: If the welds are missing, the mounting bracket can separate from the tank, allowing fuel to leak and increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.
The fix: Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel tank welds and, as necessary, replace the fuel tank, free of charge. The recall began December 14, 2017.
